Restoring important grassland habitats to protect biodiversity
The LIFE-Nature project 'Trockenrasen Saar' succeeded in restoring and conserving over 100 ha of dry grasslands on chalky soil habitats at 14 sites in Germany. The project led to a substantial increase in the populations of endangered species at the sites. Read more >>
Putting the environment at the heart of policy making in Lebanon
A LIFE-TCY project on 'Strategic environmental assessment and land use planning in Lebanon' promoted the integration of crucial environmental considerations into policies, programmes and plans at the national level in Lebanon. Read more >>
